Renegade is a solo/co-operative cyberpunk deck-building game for 1 to 5 players. The people of Sapporo have been enslaved by a government-run Super-Massive Computer (SMC) known as Mother. You and your team of elite hackers are among the few to have escaped her mental harvest and stand poised to fight back on the digital battlefield.
In Renegade, you are faced with one of four SMC's, each with their own AI with increasing complexity. This SMC will create Countermeasures, special scenarios that you must complete to win the game. You must puzzle through and survive the waves of enemies before the board is overrun by the SMC's digital minions. Your deck of cards is your hacker's toolbox, filled with cards that employ informational, destructive, and deceptive attacks. These decks can be upgraded and customized by purchasing more powerful cards with your basic ones over the course of the game.
